A German in the UK...
Carp fishing and the UK are inextricably linked, fact. Here in Europe, some people are so passionate about it (like us) that they are called Anglophiles, while for others it is a distant concept these days.
Few of us Europeans have the opportunity nor the will to fish in the UK, let alone be successful. One exception to this rule is our German friend Philipp Braun, who in the past – in the heyday of TwoTone – fished at Conningbrook and in more recent years tried his luck at challenging and inspiring waters such as Burghfield, Linch Hill, etc.
It is therefore with great pleasure – and big smiles on our editorial faces – that we are able to post a recent mega carp of Philipp from the latter venue. The Pretty One, needless to explain why loo. Hats off, mate!
