As you may have seen in recent days, the long planned vidange of the famous French Orient is taking place right now and it seems that its unique stock of carp and other species is massively in danger at the moment because of being left in very little water for the coming weeks. Under these current circumstances local anglers fear low oxygen, cold weather, extra stress, possible fish theft, etc. & feel that local authorities and organisations including the AAPPMA responsible for the fishing rights could do so much more with the budgets they (should) have for this.  We are...

Goed nieuws! Dezelfde dag dat we postten over de dreiging aan het Blancquaertsveld in Berlare en het uitblijven van een reactie van de minister op een eerder dossier (Nieuwkapelle), kregen we dezelfde dag antwoord van de minster - zie onderaan dit bericht - & kondigde EnergyVision aan - o.a. op onze Facebookpagina - dat ze de aanvraag in Berlare intrekken. Er waren reeds tal van lokale initiatieven aan de gang in Berlare, waarvoor dank, en ons bericht was deel van het geheel dat deze positieve uitkomst bracht.

Na de eerdere berichtgeving rond zonnepanelen op de Nieuwkapelleput in West-Vlaanderen, lijkt het nu dat vissers, wandelaars en natuurmensen nu opnieuw een brok prachtig groen zullen moeten inleveren. Ditmaal dreigt het Blancquaertsveld in Berlare, Oost-Vlaanderen, te verdwijnen. Het openbaar onderzoek hangt nu uit en loopt tot 22/11, bewaar kan nu massaal ingediend worden. Zo weinig water in Vlaanderen/België, zoveel alternatieve locaties om zonnepanelen te planten... In het dossier rond Nieuwkapelleput bleven we zelf niet bij de pakken zitten en stuurden we op 5 augustus onderstaand schrijven aan de bevoegde minister, op heden - ondanks herhaling van de vraag - onbeantwoord....
