Jim Gibbinson, one of our childhood names we looked up to ourselves, passed away this morning, so we just learned on the Old School Carping page on Facebook. Met him only onces at the legendary De Zutter - Genk show in the 90s and what a gent he was. His now cult books kept us dreaming as kids, and to think of his Eclipse rods with burgundy blanks we couldn't afford back then, his technical pieces in Carpworld...  all part of his legacy now. RIP sir!
