Monkey Climber - What's new for Carp Den Bosch '26

Hi all, we were a little unsure if we wanted to play this 'what's new for Den Bosch' game this year, spamming so-called @followers and @topfollowers to death - or dare we say @highlight y'all to another galaxy. We believe after 15 years of Monkey Climber at Carp Den Bosch (previously Zwolle) you know that we prefer to grow things organically and that customers on our stand are always surprised by many new, quality products and exclusives or colourways that are not on the site, etc. Exactly that's the main reason why many people (@followers lol) run to our stand as soon as the doors open :-)

That being said, we've made this small blogpost with a couple of @highlights (sorry!). Also, we wanted to support Mick Paine who is doing this show for 30 years now, what an achievement! And he grew it organically too.

MONKEY CLIMBER x BERNOT CAPS UNIQUE ONE OFF 5 PANELS

Our friend over at Bernot Caps fell sick during the Xmas period and only could help us out last minute. As we speak, there's a good dozen of unique, one off 5 panels underway to us. These cost 85 euros per piece, not cheap we know, but remember/consider these are handmade, unique and shipping material to Vilnius and back is just very costly. In the States these upcycled type of 5 panels go for 175-325 dollars per piece standard...

LEWIS SMITH CUSTOMS

Two super sick collab ranges from our craftsman Lewis over in the UK! Lewis: "We produced some industry first Brass Monkey Climbers 🐒 laser etched with the iconic MC logo front and back. & The Exotic Collection 5 different stabilised wooden bobbins also laser engraved over 100 available all complete with 2BA stainless inserts." Some nice @carpdenbosch_official news again! We’re super excited to announce that we are going to have Frank Warwick’s Pop Up range exclusively at the show this weekend. First time available outside the UK.

No Carp Den Bosch without MC x SignalWood bobbins. We've saved our stock up this year - nothing available online - especially for this show. There's also a mega SignalWood piece in the new magazine MCUK File02.

CARP DEN BOSCH 30th ANNIVERSARY SPECIALS

We've got 100 tubs of these mega limited edition pop ups for the 30th anniversary of Carp Den Bosch. Their attractor profile is our new Fury of Five blend. About this blend: Swan Mussel is our strongest fish flavour in the range. Yet one of our close mates wanted something still more pungent, so he could label his bloodpowder fishmeals even more uniquely. That's when Gio and his friend Jeroen - who's a chef - got their heads together and came up with this blend of four super strong fish flavours (including Swan Mussel) and a perfect duplicate of Hutchy's Secret Agent we got recently in. Our friend caught crazy this year, everywhere he went, with many big fish falling to his baits. He nicknamed the blend 'The Five' and because of the spicy Secret Agent touch we came up with the name Fury of Five. For the fans and combo's and blends - also works well, surprisingly, with a good few drops of our Iceberg (cola spice) flavour. We can cure them for you on the stand too!

NEW POP UPS, FLAVOURS & LIVE CURING

At Den Bosch we'll have loads of new, unreleased pop ups and flavours that are not on the site yet (too many to mention here with so little time on our hands). Plus Gio's fishing buddy Jeroen (and Gio himself if he finds the time) will help customers curing their pop ups live. Our pop ups have standard levels of quality flavours in it and are good as is, but if you're like Gio himself you'll like a super boosted pop up. Think his and Jeroen's captures show that the statement 'big old carp only want low level baits' is certainly not true.

DAVE DOG BOOKS

Stuart Brookes & the Dave Dog Publications crew will be on our stand full weekend with their full book catalog. As their Euro distro it would have been rude not to invite them. Keep print alive!

SUBSURFACE JOURNAL

We're one of the EU distros of SUBmag 4, the high quality magazine by Gaz Fareham & possibly the only one (or together with our friends over @carpworld.com) that will have the mag at the show.
