Rod specs

12ft 3lb UK Designed Blanks. 3k weave. Semi Parabolic action, a classic all round rod. Full length slim duplon handle and classic flared foregrip either side of a 1k American Tackle 18mm DPS style reel seat. Finally, a slotted butt cap finishes the handle off.

A Kigan 3D 40mm ringset and a 12mm American Tackle tip ring are whipped on in fuji black with modest white accents.

Each blank has a serial number and custom made heavy duty rod bag. 

About SC Custom Rods

After losing his job due to Covid, Stuart was fortunate enough to be able to upgrade his ability to build fishing rods. Better equipment, more suppliers, new techniques. The natural progression was to start a small part time company. SC Custom Rods was born.
