I was given the opportunity to again work with Gio and Eve for some bobbins and after the Belgian Goolderheide show we initially came up with the Monkey Glowz, and it had my ideas spinning.
Bespoke hand made glow in the dark bobbins complete with the iconic MC logo laser engraved to the face with a slight difference, we stepped away from the traditional round end bobbins and changed it up for engraved solid brass end caps. This additional weight keeps the structural integrity of the bobbin but also adding some bling.
I decided to make matching glow needles that match the design we'd previously used for other collaborations together completing this full set.
Fitted with 2ba stainless steel threaded inserts for the strength these bobbins act on the bank as cool as they look.
I had the idea in my head for a box but not just any box 😂 it had to be different and had to be sick! So welcome in the half wrap display box, hand crafted by my good friend Remco in the Netherlands this product came together so great he managed to turn what was a silly idea into a purpose made display box for this collaboration.
