We first met the boys from Sarthe Pêche in France at the 2024 French Nash Days, and it didn't take long before we started working together. They became distributors of our clothing and pop-ups, and soon enough, we were discussing the idea of creating a very special collab bait together. It took us until now - lack of time as always, we're sorry - to finally bring this one to life for Tony, and there's a good reason behind the flavour combination. It's based on the bait he used as a kid, a combination of mulberry and chilli that has accounted for a ridiculous number of carp for him and his friends over the years. Tony also swears by it for competition fishing which is really big over in France, so we knew we had something special on our hands. The result? A bright white pop-up with a seriously pungent hit of chilli. The mulberry in here is a perfect copy of Hutchy's Mulberry Florentine. When we rolled these, our eyes were practically watering (bleeding, lol) - but that's all part of the fun. The finished hookbaits combines the sweetness of mulberry with an unmistakable, fiery chilli kick.
Available in 14/15mm, you can choose between our standard pop-ups and the cured version. The latter comes with an extra dose of flavour and a coating of our upcoming Hot Spice powder. A few people have already encountered this stuff at the shows, and let's just say that tasting it left their mouths on fire.
