Komende zondag is het derde editie van het old school treffen (new school is uiteraard ook welkom!) de Kempisch Kanaal Meeting, in de Bloemfabriek in Geel.  Op het programma staan opnieuw leuke sprekers, er zijn zeer diverse standjes aanwezig, unieke gadgets verkrijgbaar, enz. We ontvingen vandaag antwoord van het kabinet op onze vraag ivm de zonnepanelen die De Watergroep op Nieuwkappelleput nabij Diksmuide wil leggen. Een plan waartegen wij en menig visser slash natuurliefhebber ons blijven verzetten. Geachte, We hebben uw bericht via minister Depraetere goed ontvangen en met aandacht gelezen. De lopende procedure voor de omgevingsvergunning werd ingetrokken door de Watergroep.  Voor dit concrete dossier is het gemeentebestuur van Diksmuide bevoegd. Wanneer de Watergroep een nieuwe aanvraag indient, zal er opnieuw een openbaar onderzoek georganiseerd worden waar eventuele bezwaren kunnen ingediend worden.
