Tomorrow is our editor Gio's birthday and although still on the mend from surgery last week he's slowly back on track with orders from this website again.  A friend of ours is organising this charity for disabled people so they can have their first trip to the sea since the start of Covid. Last Friday I had some serious varicose veins surgery and still trying to recover from it. Just received some pics from the weekend prior to that and wanted to update you all. For three years now 't Veld in Ardooie, a public water in our own province of West Flanders, is having serious difficulties with water levels after the province had works done. We fished it briefly in April last year ourselves and the side of the water we fished only had 70 cm of water... Local anglers have been raising the issue constantly but for some reason nothing happens. Sad to see this happening to an old school place holding a very good head of (old) fish up to mid forties.  Thanks to a local politician this was in the local news again...
