Last Saturday was a good day! Two years ago our friend Karel Diopere took a handful of 2-3 cm MC Syndicate fingerlings and bred them to these beauties today. The two smallest in the pics were hatched from eggs from the famous Heylakker syndicate even. The three biggest we had yesterday went back into the open, the others remained at Karel's for another year to grow just big enough to stock. Lac de Carcès, for a long time one France's best kept secrets - now widely now because of the many vids and series of public monster carp, is serious threatened as we speak.  Water levels are super low as a 'vidange' (lowering of the lake for netting it) is being planned. Locals and the French carp community in general are worried this will lead to disaster as many fish will die in the process, see the example of what happened last week at Lac des Settons, see pics we took from the Facebook page of our French friend Stephane Gentile....

From time to time our MC#9 No Fame cover 'star'  @frankizenn surprises us with a series of images and here's his latest submission which we will also be using for the On The Wall collab series with CarpOlogy.

The other day we posted some pics of one out of three versions of MC x Stuart Chowles custom built floater rods and the response was mad. Here's some more info. The MC floater rods are handbuilt on American Tackle Atrex blanks 2.25lb tc. 12ft by Stuart Chowles custom rods, an English guy living close to our HQ over here in Belgium. The rings are American Tackle Vortex Air guides. 30mm butt's down to 8mm tip with  7 or 8 intermediates (depending on the specific model). American tackle 18mm soft touch DPS seat, Hand crafted cork handles, Hand written details, Lazer etched butt...
